Compatibility with DSi firmware v1.4
The iPlayer can be updated on a DSi that is 1.4 firmware already. Tthe update file is available from http://www.dsiplayer.com/
Update guide:
1. If the NDSi firmware is v1.4, Please copy the upgrade firmware into MicroSD
2. When NDSi screen display "An error has occurred ... " please wait 2 - 3 minutes or longer, iPlayer is upgrading.
*** IMPORTANT *** Do NOT turn the power off !!!
If you turn off power at this moment, do not touch your DSi, iPlayer will be dead (not covered by warranty).
3. After 2 mins, iPlayer is upgraded.
When it is done you can turn your DSi off. iPlayer will now work fine on DSi with firmware v1.4 (although it now shows a game icon when loaded in the DSi instead of the iPlayer icon and text). |
