M3i ZERO:
The M3i Zero is shipped "empty" without any software or firmware installed.
For the first time the ZERO is used you have to flash the CORE DAT file to the cards eprom chip. This only needs to be done the 1st time, unless M3 team release an update to fix any issues with the eprom memory or if nintendo releases a firmware update for the dsi that blocks the slot 1 cards.

Sakura/Touchpod loaders are bundled with an EXE installer which automatically copies the needed current files to your mem card.
NOTE: Does your flash cart not work, or works only some times ?
1. We discovered that some times there is connection problems betwean flash cart and NDS. You can try to put some papper under the the flash cart while it i is in NDS, this trick helps in most cases! You should also make sure that the "golden fingers" on the flash cart are clean.
2. Please be sure that you are using the latest firmware, should be System V3.6 Europe/USA (M3 REAL 2008-05).
Please download our latest firmware. Try to format the MicroSD memory first, then reinstall the firmware. All the games must be clean dumps as well...
M3 Perfekt (slot 2) sugestions:
Use the game manager, "pack" the ROM images and disable some DMA access using the
M3 tool before putting them onto the SD card!
Emulating NES/SNES, GBC etc:
You will need to run any free homebrew emulators. It's independent of what linker you are using, works on most of them. Please check links below for more info:

Sollution to Micro SD spring problems:
Open the back shell, and re-adjust the spring pin inside. And try to insert the micro sd
card a few times without the back cover just to make sure .
The mechanism of the spring inside the cartridge should be off the hook. It is quite easy
to fix by opening the shell case and re-adjust the spring. alternatively, if your transaction is still covered by your reseller replacement policy, you can request it to be replace by your reseller.

Q: How to upgrade the firmware?
A: 1. Please download the firmware you want to use.
2. Insert the SD/CF card into the M3 adapter.
3. Insert your M3 adapter into the NDS.
4. Insert Passcard 3 or insert any NDS game in the passkey 1/2 and insert the passkey into the NDS.
5. Turn on your NDS.
6. You should get a message asking "Do you want to flash the firmware" (something like that).
7. Press START to update the firmware, or A to cancel.
Q: How do I use M3 Perfect?
A: Please go to our support page and follow links. Download latest software updates and user manual.
First time you put your CF/SD card in M3 do not press too hard. Be accurate. The card does not slide in as easy as you expect. After around fifth time the card will slide in perfectly. Dont brake M3 by forced pushing card in for the first time.
Everything is not abious so please giv it some time and read the manual how to instal! M3 must be installed on your NDS, copy special files to SD/CF root folder. Many games (especially other systems roms) needs to be copied to CF/SD card via M3 Game Manager, not just dragged or using copy/paste. Thanks for sharing this information to Lauris Anèupâns
Q: M3 Perect SD - problems with SD memory modules.
A: Make sure to download latest M3 software (M3 Game Manager V2.4, Update E12 or newer). Compatibility is now much better with SD memory and M3 should work now well with all SD brands.
If you have still problems please try different memory brands. See also our support page and follow links for more info and forums.
Q: Why do I get white screen using NDS and M3?
A: Probably beacause latest NDS consoles are not compatible with PassKey (or any other PassMe devices on teh market today, 12 Dec 2005). Make sure to use a new PassKey version, compatible with all NDS. There may also be possible to solve this by reprogramming the PassKey, patching games and/or change of NDS BIOS (FlashMe), see our support page for links.
Q: Why I can't see NDS files from my momery card, only GBA files are visible?
A: Make sure you are using PassKey and have one original NDS game cart inside it, or the PassMe Upgrade.
Q: Can M3 play MP3 and films?
A: Yes. You can use M3 media conveter or use MoonShell media player. MoonShell is better solllution, it will let you listen to music, watch movies and view pictures without converting it! Just stick some MP3’s onto your Mini SD card and you’re done. MoonShell can also playback a variety of different tracker formats and it has also better graphic viewing features. To play video files you need to pre-convert them for use with both players. The M3 Crystal Engine is better sollution for playing video.
Q: Super RTS (real time save) function is not working, why?
A: Use Game Manager to transfer game files and DON'T use zipped files.

7. Q: How do I change my skins?
A: You may change your skin under the Setting Menu. For more information, please refer our M3 real user manual .
8. Q: Does M3 Ds real require any flashme or any kind of passme device to work?
A: No, once you have your M3 Ds Real all you need to do is plug it in to Slot-1 and
play.
9. Q: Is it compatible with all DS games?
A: 100% currently. As of this point we have yet to hear any non-working games on our M3 Ds Real. It's the best compatibility by comparing with all similar products in the market.
10. Q: How do I get my Backup my saves?
A: There is a built in function where you can have 3 saves .0 being the default save,
while .1 and .2 can act as your backup saves. To do this, go to the game listing screen,
highlight the game you want to backup your saves from, then hit "select" you will see 5
options:
Default -> 1
Default -> 2
1 -> Default
2 -> Default

11. Q: Can I transfer our old R4/M3 simply saves onto the M3 real ?
A: Yes, transfer your old R4/M3 simply saves into the M3 real is easy .
You may transfer your old R4/M3 simply saves onto the M3. There are few methods in doing so:
Method 1: Simply rename you .sav files into .0 *note this only works if your computer
operating system has "Hide extensions for known file types." disabled.
Method 2: Use our Save Tool Converter which will let you convert from .sav to .0 or via
verse from .0 to .sav with a click of a button. Please refer to Readme file in the
package for full details.
We suggest before converting any of your saves it will be wise to backup your
saves first.
12. Q: How do I use the Soft reset function?
A: Before starting a game make sure you turn on the "SoftReset Key" on it will let
you choose which combination of keys that will activate the soft reset function during
game play.
13. Q: I'm a new user, is M3 real difficult to use?
A: Our aim is to produce a powerful and simple in design product, it is easy to
operate, you just need to follow the instruction in NDS interface.
