QUICK USER MANUAL (Dec. 27 2006):

Format your TF card as FAT format (Use the Computer) .
Place the LOADER:
1.copy loader.nds and "TFSYSTEM" folder to TF card root dir.
Place and play the DS ROM:
1.Directly Drag'N drop the ds rom (Clean Rom Need) into the TF card root dir.
2.Copy the model.sav from "TFSYSTEM" folder to TF card root dir.
3.Turn on the NDS and press "B" botton to select your TF card speed .
4.Select the *.nds (ds rom file) and press "A" botton .
5.Select the model.sav file and press "A" botton .
Add the Latest DS ROM:
1.Download the latest ds rom in anywhere.
2.Download the latest dsrom.lst from our forum : http://Ninjapass,com/phpbb/
2a.Or Edit your old dsrom.lst with UltraEdit-32 & WinHex by yourself.
3.Replace the latest dsrom.lst into the "TFSYSTEM" folder.
4.Place your new rom (*.nds) and new model.sav file into the TF card.
Gamesave type Support :

100000000 : 4k Eeprom
200000000 : 64K Eeprom
300000000 : 2MB Flash
500000000 : 512K Eeprom

Place the MoonShell:
1.Unzip the MoonShell_X9Edition_Beta.zip
2.Copy MoonShell.nds and shell folder into TF root dir.
3.Select the MoonShell.nds to run .

Custom operating system upgrad method :
For new function & new gamesave type need , therefore X9 OS need update in the Future.
How to :
1.copy update.nds and boot.nds to your TF card .
2.turn on the NDS and select update.nds to run .
3.until the update auto Completed .
4.Now the X9 operating system update done.
Note : When you update the OS , your console's battery need 100% full .
OS skinnable
1.Make a *.BMP must 256x192 size and 24bits color .
2.Rename it as top.BMP
3.Copy top.BMP into TFSYSTEM folder .
How to play ROMs?
Copy the rom till your Micro SD memory. You must also copy a new model.sav file from the TFSYSTEM to same folder and rename it. If your rom name is 0652.nds, rename it to 0652.sav. The file model.sav works with all save types. Once you boot up your DS and select a game to play you must choose a save file to use before playing.
TUTORIAL & MORE INFORMATION (Dec. 27 2006):
Setting up the TF card requires some reading of the Ninjapass forums and/or website since there is not any information in the box on what to do. Finding the information is a little difficult but can be found on this page and the official forum.
The X9 makes use of a so called 'loader' and 'rom list' file. The loader basically is just a menu system that loads your chosen rom. It also provides the save management features of the X9. The rom list file (dsrom.lst) contains save type information for the roms. It is necessary to keep both these files up-to date by visiting the forum for updates.
To set up initially grab must grab the X9OS files and extract them to the root of the TF card. This creates a file-structure similar to below:

With loader.nds being in the root of the TF card.
X9 supports fat16 and 8.3 filenames. Roms should be renamed to this format to make it easier to use the interface. For EACH rom added to the card, it is required that you make a COPY of the 'model.sav' file and rename it to the same as the rom but with a .sav extension. Renaming it to the same name as the rom is not strictly necessary because you are forced to choose the save file for each rom as it is loaded. But for your sanity it would be sensible to name the saves in such a way.
The X9 does not require any special PC side software and requires you to use so called 'clean roms'. Transferring of the files is currently done by using a card reader.
A note, the model.sav is not a special file format. It is simply a file 256-kb big filled with 0's. Of course when it gets used it gets overwritten with the actual save game data but it is nothing special to start with. Likewise, record.dat is a file full of 0xFF's until the X9 is used.
The latest dsrom.lst is required to support the latest games but it is relatively simple to add the latest games yourself.
The X9 boots in the same way as other DS games. No flashme is needed. Just insert the card and boot as you would a original game.
The X9 loads up a simple menu screen that shows a list of your roms and saves plus any other files all intermixed on the lower screen, and the roms gfx image on the top screen if a rom is selected. The 'B' button allows you to select different flash card read speeds depending on your TF card. Information on this is constantly evolving... Check the official forum for latest info.
Loading a game requires selecting the rom and pressing 'A'. The rom can be selected via the dpad or via the touch screen. Upon pressing the 'A' button you are again presented with the list of files and this time you must select a sav file. This is done in the same way as selecting a rom.
The bottom screen displays the text 'Loading Save' and then providing nothing goes wrong, 'Loading game'.
