GBA accelerometer

The Kionix DS Motion Card is a revolutionary motion sensor for the Nintendo GBA/SP handheld gaming systems.The DS Motion Card is a revolutionary motion sensor for the Nintendo GBA/SP handheld gaming systems.The GBAccelerometer is a 3-axis Kionix accelerometer that plugs into the Nintendo Gameboy Advance link port to enable full motion sensing on the GBA!

This unique motion sensor can be used for homebrew GBA development, and its the fist 3-axis accelerometer available for handheld gaming.

How it Works:

The GBAccelerometer contains a Kionix tri-axis accelerometer that communicates with the GBA using SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) through the link port.

Custom software turns the accelerometer on, reads the accelerations, and controls the display based on the accelerometer readings.

    To use these games with the GBAccelerometer, you will need to put them on a GBA flash cartridge and plug the GBAccelerometer into the link port. There are no emulators that support the GBAccelerometer.
