These replacement Wii drive board can be used in most of Wii consoles, from any region.
It does not matter what version drive board was in before, you can just replace the damaged Wii DVD board with these.
NOTE! Recently there is new Wii DVD model (2010-09) with smaller PCB and different cables. It is not compatible with those PCBs. However you can replace entire Wii DVD.
