Info regarding repalcing / exchanging the XB360 Slim hard drive:

The hard drive from older XB360 models are not completely compatible on the new Slim unit. However, the 250GB hard drive that is included in the unit can be taken out and be replaced with another Xbox 360 harddrive. If you have Xbox 360 "Fat" hard drive you need to open tah hard drive, take it out and put it in this housing for Xbox Slim. It is plug and play! Works without problems.

You can also repalce the original Xbox 360 Slim harddrive, HOWEVER you will need to break the hdd case and use this new hdd case.

It is also possible to replace the Xbox 360 hdd with a any generic SATA hard drive, but requires more work, try to search the Google...
